George, leave it in for another 500kms . . . then put the good oil in  . . . recommended by factory are 10W40 or 15W50 . . . but, I tend to go 10W40 even here with our heat . . .

Managed to have a puller fail and break the flywheel it was on in the process.

Wife says shingles hurt more than childbirth, so sorry Teddy. Nate, I would get the vaccine

Well, you've just bought me another hour and a half today.

I usually use the Motul 5100 10w/40 Semi synth with Ester. I was thinking of a move to full synth, especially since Motul now appear to only offer the 5100 now in 10w/50.

Not sure though.

A local mob here, Penrite, make good oils so I might compare the prices on those. I like to stick with what I know though. On the practical side, there's always a little oil left over each change to add to the next batch!  [thumbsup]

Okay, so the pre-filter is the small screen in the oil filter housing? So wash in fuel?
