Anything new in the zoo?
Which one?

Either of you used a cordless impact driver?
I never have, but I've seen them in action and they seem to work.

What do you want to do with it?

Yes that would be first job for it Tony.
I do not have a compressor.
Although a comp and cheap air tool set costs about the same...

A compressor is useful. And the air tool acquisition that follows make a lot of jobs easier.

Just keep in mind that many small compressors don't put out sufficient volume for some jobs.

Impact tools require pressure, and not a lot of volume. Tools like sanders and spray guns that run for extended periods require volume.

And collecting air tools can become an addiction.

I'd guess that one would be fine for impact, but not sanding/spraying...short duration jobs

It only puts out ~4 cfm.

An HVLP spray gun typically requires 17 cfm. Some of the expensive ones use less. The only way to get that is with a 2 stage pump.

Only thing I ever sprayed was first bike. Using cans of maranello red...
At thus stage I have no other use for a comp...

Not one that's smitten me yet...

But I really cant see the problem with that addiction.

Then that one would most likely work for what you want to do.

Collect?  I only have what I need  ;D

Sometimes I like to find out what happens when...............  I'm really pleased I played with the PCV + Autotune thing.  Not (just) coz it works great, but coz I learned lots during the process of figuring it all out.

I needed an AFR gauge and probe for the DR... right after I learned that I'm shit at jetting a carburetor by "feel".

..so your summer heat can be sticky and humid??  I'm surprised.  I imagined it would by dry heat like we get (far away from the tropical humidity).
