I'm sure the MV is an excellent bike, and I wouldn't kick it out of my garage, (If I had a garage) but I like the R9T better. and I can live with the spokes, they just wouldn't get cleaned too often.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Why would you wash a motorcycle wheel? The dirt protects the finish.

Making home made hash browns for the family. Nom.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Carlos can provide an answer for that. To him bikes have special names, like Gina or Ted or something. This implies that the have soul's & personalities and therefore should be protected and cherished. To me They are pieces of equipment so I cant answer your question. (which I suspect was rhetorical) at least not very well anyway. I was taught that cleaning wheels and other stuff prevents corrosion, so it's a maintenance issue, plus it looks nice when it's clean, but theres also the return on effort put fourth. So I guess if the grime is starting to eat the finish and then the metal underneath the finish then it probably needs to ge cleaned more often.

I like my bikes...

but they don't wash me...or pick me up off the ground when we crash.

I pick them up...but the washing thing is out.

When I wash Gina, is just to clean her out, when I ride her, it's a daily thing so, I don't have the time to wash it everyday !!! I do know people whos bikes are just as they took em out of the sales floor . . . I no longer have that patience and I do have the Alpina spoked wheels . ..  I do have some things to help clean them out . . .
