The only option we have is via satellite.  It's a government subsidised service for "remote" dwellers to give us a modicum of internet access.

When the scheme began we could buy max 60gb (cost $60).  Not great, but adequate.

Then..... due to complaints that the service was too slow....  the knobs who designed it... have responded to those complaints by restricting access to max 20Gb per month (costs $50)  >:( [bang]

Typical.... that when the highway gets too congested.... no thoughts of building a better road.... just tell two-thirds of the traffic to go the make the beast with two backs away.  Oh and pay more per mile traveled while you're at it. 

So no, I can't even pay for more  [bang]

Any US satellite providers who want my money??

You talk about slow...we had no internet and then dial up...which was like no internet.

You should talk to the Satellite Smithy.

Maybe he can come out of retirement and launch one for you.

But it's all been delayed to mid 2016  [bang]

got an email they bumped my 200gb to 500gb of downloads. ..
