Slept in! I only have to go in for a short time today. A day off in the middle of the week is weird.

Coffee is almost ready, dog had a short walk, and is now eating. Play time will be next. 10 minutes in she will be sleepy  [laugh]

Good day.

Im thinking of training some Irish wolf hounds to detect scarab beetles. I need them to make scarab beetle ice cream.  I would drown them in Corn syrup first and let them cure for three weeks before chopping them into vanilla bean ice cream.

If I do this on TV I will get my friend Heather to make costumes for the dogs so they can look like the band members of Gwar. Beacause, you know, TV

Mother Nature fooled the apple trees into flowering.

We went from 89 degrees on Sunday to 31 this am.

Probably no apples on our trees this year.

Had my fair share of the poms today (you'll know what I mean), Lucas electrics by day and Downton Abbey at night [bang] [laugh]. The GLW loves it though.
Enjoying a new variety of grape tonight as our eldest brought me home half a dozen of DeBortoli's Petit Verdot. Not bad. [wine]
