All of the diesel fuel savings for the life of the vehicle.... cancelled out... right there.  What chance I can "sell" this as a reason for replacing it with simple V8 Dunny Door?

It's true.  First of the gutless unleaded 1.8litre Camiras.  No smoke.  No breakdowns.  No failures whatsoever.
