You should see the thread on Nextdoor from the woman down the street complaining about airplane noise in our neighborhood. Turns out a couple F16s from Buckley were headed out to the west last week or so.  She thought they were planes from DIA.  [bang] [bang] [bang]

Not to mention your rotored friends from DPD routinely fly over this area.

Buckley has gotten numerous complaints from someone living in the subdivision just south of the base.  [roll]  (the one that was build some 60+ years after the base opened)

Having a few windows replaced at my house today.

These guys are loud...and were here promptly at 8:00AM.

I figured it was time to get rid of the likely original single pane double hungs and go with something much more energy efficient.

I'm guessing these guys are either good, paid by the job, or both.  It's 2:39 now and they've only got one more window to finish up trimming out.

I need to figure out what neighborhood I am in, other than just Not Wash Park, Not Cheery Creek, Not Observatory Park, Not Bonnie Brae...  It's the hole between all the cool neighborhoods!

Fibrex - proprietary blend, I'm told.  I think they told me it's the same material as Trex decking.  Wood gets too dry, vinyl cracks from the UV, etc.

Interesting. I went with fiberglass and so far they've been great.

Vinyl windows suck, and wood windows rot in our climate
