My wife keeps accusing me of being old.  I'm not even 40 yet.  I guess she thinks 30 is old.

My boss sent me a text offering to teach my class tomorrow! I turned her down, but at least she is thinking about my work load.

Apparently, OB gobbled a piece of mulch/bark at some point recently.  Ever since he's been a pup he's always grabbed twigs, rocks, mulch, berries and such while on walks.  Kind of hard to control, him being a small, quick Terrier and all.

Because of the pancreatitis episode he had about two years ago (that also require emergency surgery), it has caused lingering issues with his intestines that this particular piece of bark/mulch didn't comply with.

He had surgery on Tuesday to remove the obstruction.

He was able to go home today, but faces a few weeks of uncomfortable recovery (no steps, no running, no jumping, etc.). 

I saw him this evening and he seems to be doing much better than two years ago, but still has a ways to go.

His bud, Brian the Boxer, has been great through this ordeal.  It is uncanny how another canine understands what is going on. 

Thanks for the well wishes.  I'm sure OB will be back to his (semi)normal self soon!
