the ride was therapeutic.  exactly what my mind and soul needed.

Took a while for the Baconator to turn the recovery corner but considering they opened his gut AND intestine this time, the longer recovery wasn't a surprise.  Challenging (physically and mentally for both of us) but he's good enough to go spend a few days with his "dad" w/o me being (too bad of) a freak worrier.

;)

What was for dinner?   I've got to figure s'thing out.  STARVING!

LMT

Brined pork chops (buy one get one free at the grocery store), smashed Yukon gold potatoes, and steamed broccoli. 3 different beers from the prep to the eating.

Dinner was good!

Glad to hear that Oliver is on the road to recovery. Look for a box this week  :)

Stella, good to know everyone is OK . . .

lunch was spaghetti with ragu . ..

Morning all.

Homemade hash brown day for the kids.

Time to peel them taters.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

According to them, yup.

"Starving to death!"  [roll]

Cooking in both skillets at once still won't keep up with them.
