Oak is usually 3ft away, another tank is a 12 minute trip to the store and back.

that's why I don't use gas . .. charcoal or wood . ..

Why I don't have a pile of oak or why it would not be a good idea to start a fire in a grill that I would like to continue to use for many more years?
so, it's a gas only grill . . . . :-X

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I just ran out of propane. [bang]

What a coincidence, I've got a solution for you.

A guy wandered into my shop today, trying to sell me one of these:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beverage-can_stove
The craftsmanship was really good, and he had two different designs.
He said they were emergency stoves that ran off of hydrogen that they extracted from the air.
I told him I was good, I had a stove that ran off of gas that comes out of a pipe in the wall.
He seemed disappointed, so he showed me a video on his phone with one of his stoves with nice blue flame coming out.
I maintained my position, that I was good with my stove.
He went away.

But if he comes back, I can send him your way.
He's on a bicycle, so it may take him a while to get there, so be patient.
