OK . . . if you can ride to dealer to have the gap issue taken care better . . . today the M821 with "Klizomas" showed up  . . . now I know why I didn't take apart the control . . . KLIZOMA

Is that someone who tried to do it themselves?

So, if someone wants to change the bars out for clip-ons, it needs to be done by the dealer?

If you're a tech and you don't want to do the service, who's doing it?  [laugh]

this customer cant wipe his own behind . . . buke came in for 1000kms service and he wanted the grips replaced . . . I did service and the guy working with me did the grip replacement . .   I was tied up on a MTS1200S fuel sensor replacement but I did see my "assistant" just pulling and then pushing       you want clip ons?  not impossible but lots of mrasuring and you might liose a frw degrees of turning

Well, I fixed the gap on the housing. Turns out whoever touched it last didn't line up the nub with the hole in the bars. Loosened the housing a bit, rotated, popped it back in the hole and tightened it back up. No issues, started it back up and confirmed proper throttle operation. It's all good now.
