She turned 70 not too long ago. She's had health problems for a long time-had a stroke in '94. Was never quite right after that.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Sales guy's mother passed away a few days ago, bone cancer . . . she was just a few years older than I am . . .

I have a birthday next year and will be 13. My eyebrows are going gray  :P

One of my best friends from Jr High, High school, and church got married today. Ginger and her wife made a beautiful couple. Way back in HS we would have never even dreamed of this day. 

How times have changed.  The fact that we will all get old (older) and die is the constant. After too many years in the ambulance, I have seen what happens to our elderly. My plan is to end it before it gets too bad.

Age related deterioration sucks.  But then we have the knowledge and ability (although in my case not the inclination) to help swing better odds in own favour.

If there's any justice associated with such life-style strategies, Mrs Ung will live forever  [thumbsup].  I, OTOH am here for a good time not necessarily a long time.

Both of my parents fell off the perch quite young (yet despite myself, I've now lived longer than did  my Mother)....  so I never had to witness them deteriorate into frailty or beyond their own capacity to live independent lives.

When my mother went it was ugly. Thats all I have to say about that.

On another note my dog is getting wise in her old age. She just found a skunk and didnt chase it. She stood there and watched it walk off instead.

In other news: Boys and I had a lovely long brisk walk this morning.

Brunch of some sort up next then help a friend move furniture, play with paint, work stuff, fiddle play, contemplate the meaning of life, eat some popcorn...


Not a terrible day planned but we'll see what sticks.
