Good to hear alls well Carlos....

Weather had not been the greatest here. Overcast a lot and a few storms...

(irritation/rant)

Everybody has to have a big diesel truck these days. One neighbor uses his mostly to go to work at the grocery store 8 blocks away. The "midnight shotgun" neighbor does actually use his truck to tow stuff like, other cars or heavy looking stuff on a flatbed on a regular basis. But it seems most people use theirs just to make lots of noise. I hear them blasting up and down the street as fast as their right foot can make it go from the stop sign. Most of the trucks sport an aftermarket 6 inch exhaust and accompanying turbo that makes an extra loud whistling noise. (Because the stock turbo doesn't make enough power I guess)

Most of these guys seem to need a 3500 of one sort or another because it hauls the beer cans and miscellaneous junk rolling around in the bed better than a half ton pickup does. Who knows, the occasion might come up to move a couch and some furniture at some point.  Everyone needs to know that your truck can get the job done, weather driving to the airport in Portland or hauling 2 dogs and some camping equipment up to the mountains.

The ones that make huge plumes of black sooty smoke are some of my favorite.

I guess my rant is more about "Get off of my lawn!" than anyones perceived inadequacies.

I have a headache and this persistent chest cold isn't helping. It's probably time for the F15's to fly overhead for a while.  :P
