I am in a funk. My vacation plans are not going to happen. Reading an article on NPR made me realize that I need to save more. I have been making double car payments in order to pay it off quick.

Rainy afternoon  . . . nice and cool with a light breeze . . .

Just had Spaghetti with homemade ragu sauce and cookies and cream ice cream for dessert . . . I added some cookies for texture to the ice cream

Now that I only drink beer on Friday and Saturday nights, the cost is much less!  I can always get $400 together, but the big picture is not as strong as it could be. I used my savings to have a new ignition put in the car, and then I bought a road bike.

It was a sobering read. That's all.
