I officially hate ung...

he updated a link in his RAT thread and I mistakenly followed it...

and ended up reading the entire CCEATME1 thread...again! [bang] [bang] [bang]

Unban him and invite him back.

Jud too.

Then restrict them both to the 'Stralian board.  :D
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Popeye the Sailor

Y'all happen to know any realtors who don't suck in Mass?

Apparently I'm going to need one.

I just got settled here, too.  :-\

How are you doing?

I don't have any contacts in real estate down there. I know lawyers and car dealers. I could ask one of those guys for you.

Whereabouts in that hell hole you looking?

I'm doing pretty well thanks.

Get your water back yet?

Along the Worcester-Boston train route, as most of the places Paula would ever end up working would be one or the other, and the train would be preferable to driving in Boston. Shrewsbury seems top of the list-near the train, good schools.

My perspective on what a cheap house is is terribly skewed after buying here.

Nope. They came yesterday and told me they could lower the pickup to the bottom of the well. Most of them they get maybe 6-8 inches-apparently we had four feet, which is good. So they did that, and got no additional water. They think it's the check valve now, and are coming this morning to work on it again.

At $180/hr the efficient route the first time would've been my preferred approach.  :P

ducpainter

Yeah...a foot/check valve is 10 bucks. Might as well change it. They left without checking?

You could also look along the Providence line as well as the Franklin line.

Lots of suburban joy to be had. [roll]

They left because it was the end of the day  [roll]

Not familiar with the Providence or Franklin line-I'll look into them.

I was looking at a couple of acres and a barn in New Hampster, but I can't assume P will always have a telecommute job.

I don't want neighbors-they'll object to my hobby  :P

Popeye the Sailor

Fixed, ran a well test, failed.

Guess I'm staying here until I figure something out.

He's alive!!!

(Or at least someone was able to hack into his account and post on his behalf)
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
