Popeye the Sailor

Yard is cleaned up.

Half the house is packed.

Chaos, really.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Stopped by friend's body shop.  $3,100.

I have a feeling the Jag may have been a very good investment.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Is there structural damage?

Is there structural damage?

He didn't factor anything in, but could be.  It does drive a little weird after the accident.

His quote is @ 75% of value without it.

Depending on the severity of the damage to the bumper attaching pieces there could be alignment issues down the road.

That thing is only worth about 4300?

About that.  Not much more.

That surprises me more than the estimate.

That surprises me more than the estimate.

It is 14 years old.

If it was badged as a Ford it probably would have held a little more value.

And the parts would be cheaper.

WTF?

Bumper skin, taillight, and a bit of damage to that corner of the fender is all I see.

Did it FUBAR the trunk lid?

That is all they are quoting. (also the side marker lights - both sides)

Something underneath off.  Not sure if it just alignment or something else. Not tracking correctly.

Also emergency brake and ABS lights are both on now.

Neither of those have been addressed in the estimate.

Is there a reason he didn't address the alignment/warning light issues?

Typically there is a supplement submitted after the fact for hidden damages. Do you not want it totaled?

I like the car, but my feeling (if I had one) would not be hurt if it was totaled.

Looks like the knucklehead sideswiped the LR corner?

Car didn't get pinched against the curb?
