sunny and warm today with a lot of  [bacon] [bacon] [bacon].


Now I'm too full for dinner which is a big cobb salad a friend of mine requested post-op that I'm delivering shortly.  With the making of the cobb comes bacon of course so along with the fried version I made the oven baked man-candy variety.  I ate nearly all of that.   And thought of all of you.

Off I need to go now with all the goodies.  Post op hunger is a big deal I'm told.

Mostly domestic duties today since overnight dog sitter coming in so I can deal all day/night Monday with work event.  These ankle biters are lucky they don't get shipped to a kennel.

hello . . .

hunted and killed 2 snakes . . . they were brown with black X markings on bodies . . . bout 2 to 3 feet long

then a toad, about 4 lbs showed up . . . how can these animals think I can wash the car and polish the headlights with them hanging around . . . ???

think it has to do with a new construction happening about 1/2 mile from my house

In hindsight, trying all the new types of coffee the new coffee machine can make at once may not have been a good plan.

But it's so fancy I wanted to see what it did.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
