There were about 200 people at jury duty today. 49 got called to go be interviewed for a case. All the rest of us were let go at noon!  I have to go back tomorrow.

Did you take advantage of the downtime?  Bubble bath with a beer?   [thumbsup]

I have a funny...and true...story about jury duty, and how I didn't serve.
"Once you accept that a child on the autistic spectrum experiences the world in
a completely different way than you, you will be open to understand how that
 perspective
is even more amazing than yours."
To realize the value of nine  months:
Ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn.
"Don't piss off old people The older we get, the less 'Life in Prison' is a deterrent."

So...

I go to some building in Government Center...in Boston. It was the seventies.

Walk in and wait in line...very similar to Arlo in NY...and when my turn came...after all the paper passing...the guy says...

'Is there any reason you shouldn't serve?'

I looked him right in the eye...and said...

'I'm make the beast with two backsing crazy'.

He smiled, and looked back and said 'The last guy that said that to me, when I asked him to prove it took off all his clothes and ran around the room naked...I'm not going to let that happen again...you're excused.'

So I left.
