I'm about 2 hours north of San Diego.

It's wet here, and may just barely break 60.
So I'll have to wear something with long sleeves and some long pants.
Hell on wheels, I tell ya.

My heart is breaking for you guys.

You can always tell him about your traffic woes.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Plan B now?

Well...

the gun I was looking at was used. I found a NIB gun...same model for what would amount to $25 more after shipping and transfer, or essentially the same price if I gotten in to a bidding war.

I just need to really think about whether I can truly justify the number. This older used gun for $700 less in 95% condition is very appealing because I handled a similar model yesterday, but mostly because of the number, and the wood. You don't shoot the wood, and being as old as it is parts could be an issue if something goes wrong.

I can hear dad whispering in my ear.

That said, things can go badly with a new gun purchase also. There is a lot to be said about the quality of older firearms.

I find if I'm willing to wait, I almost always find a better deal.

Though when older quality comes into play, it's harder. My truck value has gone up more'n my retirement fund.

That's like what, six miles?

Oh hell no.

2 hours is the absolute best case scenario.
Goes from there to getting a hotel along the way so you maybe can complete the trip the next day.

When buying guns, it's all about the investment you are making and the return...  So you need to re-watch the video I posted in the gun thread?

Hi.  My name is Bick, and I am a gunaholic.  It's been almost two weeks since I bought my last gun.

Since my bar worked the holiday parties for the parent company and because we aren't really allowed to comingle with the other restaurants in the group since we are deemed too offensive, we get our own holiday party.
We're playing paintball on weds. I was just asked not to bring melee weapons.  >:(

My argument is that it will most likely be raining so the paint won't work as well, but you'll know for certain if you have a "sword" on your neck.

Also, we're mostly all drunks so it's not like we'll be sober enough to feel it.
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!
