At the match Saturday I was running guys through and this one guy had this 1911 with an awesome patina, on his last string of fire before holstering I asked him how long he had had it, said it was in his family since 1917. It was a beautiful piece and shot very well.

I need to handle on e bit, but for some reason I want one just to say I have one.

My understanding is they need to be set up right to run good, but once they are set up there great pistols.

As far as shooting well...the shooter has more to do with it than the gun. kopf's boy could out shoot me with anything that went bang.

Frank has thrown a few more pieces of lead than the rest of us...  combined.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I'm alright at shooting critters, which is about the extent of my needs.

Though it took five shots to kill the bat in the house, and I hit it with all of 'em.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
