Last year, and earlier this school year when every pother district would have a delay or closing, we wouldn't. I believe the superintendent took a ton of heat early this year when buses were in the ditches and she didn't delay the start. The bus that comes down the hill at the corner, one of the ones that was ditch bound, has been late several times because there's a little micro-climate up there. One side of the hill will be bare and the other has several inches of snow.

Was icy here this morning, they closed school. I'm two blocks off the main road in the area so it's hardly ever an issue for me but some of those way out of the way back get to be a mess so it makes sense when they close even if when I look out my window it doesn't look all that bad.

New job is going okay. Not real taxing.

I got out early so I shoveled me mother out, then got the kid.

Rainy now, melting the snow.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Yea same with the rain and the melt here too. There's a lot of ice in the driveway that needs to go. But more snow is on the way.

We have solid ice under this new snow. The driveway would be ice skating material if it weren't for the ruts.

Paula got me a job. I think she wants me out of the house.

Drug testing at a local lab part time.

Mostly just going to be on call at nights in case of work-related accidents. Supposed to be every other week.

Once I save up enough for a compressor and make the shop long enough to hold a vehicle.

I've been set back pretty far.  :-\
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

been my plan too that hasn't been working out. I'm usually able to set aside a decent amount for stuff but just about when I have a nice bit put aside where I can get something good, something expensive has been breaking where I end up depleting my play funds
