Last day of the afternoon ski program today.
"Once you accept that a child on the autistic spectrum experiences the world in

How're the renovations coming along?

Great!  Second floor was finished, then the wife decided she needed another outlet.  Deck done.  Living room and dining room done.  Should have done the deck back in '93!

The contractors must have been really excited about the extra outlet. :P

What happens after that?
I don't chaperone a bunch of first graders on a mountain.

I see. But whyforebecause?

Is the snow going away in your locality for the season?
End of the chaperone program/Funding?
Somebody else filling your shoes?

Reasons other than these?

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

The program runs 5 weeks. The kids get let out of school early, and are bused to the mountain. For a very reasonable sum the kids get an hour lesson, rental equipment, and a lift ticket

I'm certain it's about the money...everything is.

That's a nice program. It Also develops future customers for the ski resorts.

Probably. I never learned to ski. Not high on my list these days.

I am heading back to Klamath Falls on Sunday. Was hoping my co-worker would step up and go. Nope. I go now and again in April.

Look for a text later Dave. Staying at the same place as last time.

Is the superbowl on Sunday?

A lot of natives don't continue skiing because of the cost.

Rarely do any skiing any longer having been raised on a snowy sand dune.  $150+ for a day pass around these parts (high elevation snowy rocks) and traffic is the big suck to get to/from and decent enough to ride a bike instead.

In other news:  No snow.  Just a sheet of ice outside today.  The boys legs were going every which way on our early morning venture to water the shrubs.

In other other news:  the cofffee is still tasty.

It's a bit less here...~&80 for a full day.

The mountains are half as tall. ;D
