Is that not OK?  According to his note, he was only borrowing them for a couple weeks.

Not yet.

We only got a couple inches yesterday, didn't even shovel, and it isn't snowing now. We're supposed to get up to 18 more inches by morning.

That should keep the kid home from school another day and make going back a pleasure for everyone. ;D
