Kids keep referring to this thing called "a day off".  Can someone please explain that phrase to me?
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

it a thing where you stay at home doing homely shores like laundry cooking ironing cleaning mopping sweeping and stuff like that . . . I'll get a day off the day I die . . .

My day off was busy. Doctor appointments, house cleaning, watering the neighbors plants. They are on a rafting trip. Then I helped my landlady with some chores. Then I did some work - from home.

Looks like it might be clearing up here. Smoke from Canada (BC) fires has really made Seattle look like Beijing. Temps are supposed to cool down a little too! 86 for a high today. Hit 92 yesterday. 

Good thing I live in a basement  [laugh]  Really, it is an in-law unit.

Coffee is almost ready  [thumbsup] [coffee] [coffee]  I got up just a little before 0600, took out Lucy, and then went back to bed.
