Popeye the Sailor

It's going to be warm this weekend so in my brilliance I decided to fix the cars today in the cold.

Rear brakes all sorted on the Honda-oil change tomorrow.

Truck vibration is gone, but the rear caliper is still shot. Probably this weekend as well.

Then I can get back to working on the cars I actually want to work on.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Was going to be car fix weekend here too.  Going to be.

Starter ordered on Monday might ship today.  Might have it by next weekend.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Ning.  [coffee]  Stella, that is just wrong.

Come hell or high water or nothing at all I am having a beverage tonight!  Another looooong P&C class day and have a ton of emails and to-do's to work through yet.

Brain. Is. Fried.   Maybe I'll drunk post later.    ;D

I don't know anyone who owns a Chevy.  Seriously.  I can't think of any friends or family who have one.

So yeah... foreign indeed!

(They still make those? Says the girl in the auto industry.)

What year and model?   Previously owned by an elderly woman who never drove it?

Drink one down the hatch.

It will be nice to drive something from this century. ;D

I like my 20 year old pickup, but it's tired...needs work, and I don't want to tow our camper with it anymore.

The new one is a 4 dr. That will also solve the issue of 3 people in the front seat of a pickup. Zip is not getting smaller. ;D

He'll be 12 in May.

Almost 5' tall and 110 lbs.

He'll be kicking all our asses before long. ;D

a make the beast with two backsing Chevy,

I was just going to comment on this very topic...

Put a new battery in the Suburban today...  5 bolts to be removed or loosened to to accomplish this seemingly easy task...  3 different sockets, 2 metric, one SAE.  Yes, foreign!

You should try working an actual foreign stuff.
When I did the brakes on the Audi, it requires a battery charger, laptop and then regular tools  [cheeky]

Good morning  [coffee]

My neighbor just bought a Chevy.

Borrowed a scan tool to do the rear brakes in my Audi.  I hear you can back off the pistons by just applying battery voltage to the motors, I'll let someone else try it first.
