I'd still use POR if coating my own. I have a suspicion that the peeling is caused by chipping the coating with gas nozzles. No proof, and it wasn't worth me experimenting to find out.

If the rust isn't to the point of causing leaks, you could try Evaporust. They make three sizes. Get enough to fill the tank completely. It's a PITA if it dries before rinsing.

Good to know.

This tank here has a hole all the way through it, but there are a few....useable ones on fleabay.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Nothing serious, from what I see on NWS.

A few snow showers Wed-Fri.

Snow 'showers' can deposit several inches, but that's not an issue around here.
