Roast chicken in the oven.  So easy and tastes sooo good [drool]

Anyone have a recommendation for a good cookbook/YouTube video that will help me learn how to break down whole chickens?

Really slow day here made it painfully long.

What is accompanying said chicken on the plate?

Roast carrots, potatoes, and onion.  Maybe I'll make gravy.

They are under the chicken in the roasting pan.

It was delish!!  Falling off the bone.  Haven't had a bad chicken from this farmer.

May have had too much  [wine] for a school night.

When I come to CO, I'll make for a DMF get together.

Ohhhh this just made my shitty day so much better.  I'll certainly free up my calendar.  As long as it isn't any time soon. [beer]  

Mid week last week I decided to take today off.  Go ski!  Yay!  Use my 2nd of 5 passes.  Because for the next 20 consecutive days I'll be on the clock with some out of state travel thrown in and ridiculously long days/nights with large annual work events. oh and a funeral thrown in for good measure.

But noooooo    Another HOA debacle, an unexpected trip to the vet and scrambling to get shit done because... 20 consecutive. days....  I'm exhausted.  Need a beverage but have to move half the kitchen yet so the ceiling restoration/repair people can show up and work tomorrow.  

Any bets on all things ceiling fixed right the first time?  

This all sounds a bit like what Carlos goes through on a regular basis, no?

Pretty sure the super blue blood harvest moonshine that passed through a few weeks ago is having lingering effects today.  It's been one left hook after another today.  Now, finally, I'll go get that beverage.   :)
