He had a pretty big smile on his face sitting in the seat.

If they gave rides it would have been amazing, but it probably costs a few bucks to run one of those things. :P

The pilot was very proud of his bird. They do a lot of search and rescue in the mountains. He was explaining how this unit has integrated 'comms', so he can notify ground peeps the exact location of someone when they found them.

It also had a wire cutter on top of the cockpit...for those pesky wires that might otherwise foul the rotor. :P

I was finally able to get a long ride in on the roadie...66 miles today.  Way slower than usual, but I didn't know the route and was riding with other peeps from the training group.

The weather has been pretty erratic down here.  Lots of rain & wind, a few tornado warnings, etc.

Back to the grind tomorrow.  Thankfully this is my short week again (every other Friday off)!
