Did you get a new one?

Yup.  I have never used one.  Biggest fear is hitting a car with it.

No more leeching off the neighbor.  He kindly snowblew our driveway last winter when we got more than a couple inches.

I have plenty of room to move the cars to get them out of the way after I clear behind them.

Did I ever tell you about the time my new, gifted-from-my-dad, mac-daddy Toro snowblower got sucked up a hanging clothes line and was suspended in the air right before he was making a stop by my house?

Fortunately I was able to cut it free without minimal damage to it or to me during the catch in the deep snow before he arrived.     [laugh]

He gave each of us kids a snowblower upon our first purchase of a house.  Best gift ever when you live(d) in the lake effect snow belt.  That was back in the late 90's and that exact blower is still going strong at my sister's after hers eventually died.

Morning.

Gotta love such a thoughtful, generous, practical and long lasting gift like that.

I got my dad's old Victa Mustang alloy chassis 2 stroke lawn mower. He had it about 20 years and it served me faithfully for another dozen or more.

I  replaced it with another Victa Mustang with alloy chassis, with a Honda 4 stroke. Great mower.

[drink] [drink]  TGIF   The director of operations is a joke. Today he fired the manager of the die cast department. Dennis, the manager, was new (started a week before me), had years of experience, and was trying to do it right.  :'(

Being right has little to do with success in the corporate world.

Careful M.

Conversely...I was looking for work when I got there. I can do it again. ;)

Morning . . .

Most corps are looking for " yes sir/ma'am" employees, not employees that think for themselves . . . Wonder how I know this?

 [coffee]

Overcast, gray, chilly.... I like it.  Easier to stay in and get chores done â€" although I'm back in bed looking at things on the web needed for projects and stuff in general.

Newest idea is to get rid of bedroom door and hang a sliding door which would give more space and functionality. Requires either a custom sized ($$$) door that would work with existing trim or remove existing trim and replace (more time/hassle) â€" which would lead to replacing trim throughout the entire 1,000 sq. foot place.

Until any of that happens:  more coffee.

Evening.

Someone from Craigslist emailed me about the truck, showed up today and paid cash and left with it. He can have it.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Sweet!

I drove to VT on Thursday and bought a progressive shotshell loader for 4 gauges with a hydro assist unit. It was a great deal...30 cents on the dollar.

Now I just need to buy two more guns in the gauges I don't have. ;D
