 [coffee]  no ball of fire here. In Bandon, Oregon. Rained all night. Lucy wanted out at 0100 and the usual 0530.  [bang]   [laugh]

Headed to CA in a bit. Should be a 3 hour drive, more if we stop to look at beaches.

Sorry.  It's 60 and sunny (or at least for the next 5 minutes.)  Snow relocating machinery not on my mind right now.

How much white is on the ground right now?

Not a lot. Some, Sunday night into Monday.

I took the head off today, and nothing 'looks' wrong. I have an idea to check, but it's only supposed to reach 14 degrees tomorrow with -14 wind chills. I'll check one more thing Saturday, when it warms up to the mid 30's. I had an idea about what might have gone wrong that wouldn't be 'fatal'. If that doesn't pan out I'll be buying a new one on Sunday.

Hey Whirlybird Wrangler, saw the water scooper seaplanes today, and realized that I've always seen them flying in pairs.

Do they spot for each other when scooping water or do FAC type work on the scene?
