Big news at work yesterday. Steven, the dick wad director of Operations, got fired. He made it a year and 2 weeks. My meeting with the 2 big bosses was the straw that broke the camels back. They went and talked to other department heads - his direct reports, and did not like what they heard. Big move on their part. The CEO really liked Steven. So did one of the other owner/partners. Big hole in management now. All of the company except for sales, marketing, finance, HR, and IT reported to him.

In other news, the company I was talking to in Denver, says that due to "inmigration restrictions" they cannot hire me; I asked if, "can I do the work remotely and travel, since travel WOULD be a part of the job?" They will(so they say), analize this proposition of mine, they have 1 or 2 guys with limited skills in Spanish . . .
