No. I drink almost a full pot every morning. 2 cups at home and then the rest in my thermos to finish at work. After 8 and half months I am no longer allowed to walk around work with my coffee.

It takes me anywhere between one to two hours to visit every building, every department. I bring in a different mug each week. Workers stop me to see it, and then they ask safety questions. Now I will be either going in later and drinking my coffee at home or sit in my office for a while every morning.

Boss says he goes to the main office gets his coffee and then walks it back to his office via an outside route. So as not to show off that he can have coffee. That is just dumb.

What is the reasoning for not being able to open carry coffee through the facility?
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Open or closed, no coffee  :'(

His reasoning is that the hourly workers can not walk around with coffee or drinks. They all have drinks at their work stations or within reach...

Conceal / carry a flask?

;D

That's a ridiculous controlling rule.   Sorry to see that, M.

How can one convey their “If you could /      /, tha'd be great” orders without a coffee cup in their hand?

I could understand, a little bit more, if there was a safety or sanitary reason due to spillage risk in certain areas.

With the roaming nature or your job, being deprived of essential life giving nutrition, I see the necessity of an HR Action.  You are clearly being discriminated against and harassed!

I'm with Stella on this...  Conceal Carry [coffee] [thumbsup]

Waking up a lot seems to be part of the night time routine these days. :-\

Doesn't make him immune from a complaint.

It could be worse.
It's what I keep telling myself.
Not a very convincing argument.

I think sleep deprivation is directly responsible for 25% of mental illness. [1]

I don't mind waking up, as long as I go right back to sleep. I hate it when I lay there for hours.
