Slow morning here.   Phone sent 4 voicemails that apparently were actually intended for yesterday at some point - not at 3am.   That plus having taken my down comforter and heavy duvet to the laundromat yesterday afternoon and thinking there was someone else's over-scented, smelly detergent still in the machine causing mine to smell way too much to allow any good sleep.

Glad it's not a Monday.  Will de-scent these today.

In other news, my dad's wife hasn't unnecessarily dropped him off a cliff or a care facility, nor has she been taken by any other siblings for a "drive" out in the country or launched off the local pier.   He's feeling really good though so there's that.   [thumbsup]

Best of luck tomorrow Nate!  Like you and everyone else, I hope there are answers with simple solutions.

Paula came in 6th for her age/gender group.

27th overall.

I look forward to seeing her lead the pack up heartbreak hill next year.

No concrete answers other than gastritis...'suggestive of erosive gastritis'. Biopsies taken to check for cancer, and H pylori, a bacterial infection. I also have a small hiatal hernia, but not serious enough to warrant surgery to repair, according to him. Even as a surgeon, he wants to try lifestyle changes first. I'd rather he just make the beast with two backsing fix shit.

He wants me to cut down on caffeine, and cut down on alcohol. I'm already not smoking. I could fall off that wagon in a heartbeat, though. :-\ I'll cut my caffeine intake in half. My alcohol consumption will likely remain as it is because his recommended 3 oz/day won't cut it. Call me Popeye.

He wants a lot.

Just a thought.  Cut down on alcohol now so you can still enjoy it later.
