Schools out for the week.

Zoom work well enough?  I read something about them having not very good encryption

Seems to work OK...the platform is stressed right now so there's some lag, but it's what's available.

We've been using Google Hangouts but that only works between Gmail accounts. I think.

Mrs ML has used Hangouts for 12 people with an enterprise version and the normal old one she did a virtual knitting thing with 6 of her friends. But I don't know how.

All I know is I need to learn zoom so I can connect with a customer next week. He wants to talk about a sizable project.

I could probably figure it out, but some of the teachers...one in particular...is really technologically challenged.

Zoom is easy. Download it to your laptop, and send a meeting link via email. Of course devices at both ends need it installed.
