Lather, rinse and repeat today.

Although the mtb bike ride later today won't be 2,500 feet higher than yesterday's.  That was dumb.

I asked my L&I guy if he knew of any openings that I would be good for. I had to send email to a manager with a video still of his supervisor climbing the racking on Tuesday.

Sometimes, I wish minor mishaps on people like this.  Not life altering but just enough to label "life lesson, I better not...".

Here is my morning.  Emails -
From me to the warehouse team:

Good morning,

We need to remember to keep at least 28 inches of free walking space. We are not allowed to step over or squeeze between pallets. The hazard is tripping, twisting an ankle if a pallet breaks while stepping on it, and falling to the floor.

This was a $3,300 fine at 9243 last year. It would be a repeat if cited again.

From the director to me:
Mary-

This is work in progress and is being actively worked on. I don't have a problem with it.

From me back to them:
I have a problem with it or I would not have sent you the photos. People were stepping over and around the pallets to get to the work tables behind them and to other aisles. Even work in progress is not allowed to block 28 inch access.  This is a known issue. Please have your team figure out the spacing. Our goal is to work safely all the time, not when it is convenient.

There was a couple of more, but you get the idea. How hard would it have been to say hey, thanks for the info, we will get right on it?

I don't miss working with idiots.

I still have me to contend with, which is bad enough.  :P
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
