In other news:  on occasion, no good deed goes unpunished.  Brought a friend some dog meds I happened to have on hand for her pup and after I started for home, a guy ran a stop sign.  Proud of the cat-like reflexes being able to avoid t-boning him by a literal whisker but my own unsecured pup crashed pretty hard into the dash.  

I feel horrible and learned a lesson.  The old beloved jeep feels like it shifted off its frame - if that's even possible with a hard stop?  Car doc tomorrow.  Pup was already seen by his doc and is nicely medicated for some pain and oddly, a fever.

Right.  The dog who trusts no car and skeptic of every trip already.    So after that deal I take him to the vet for pokes and prods and they decide to skip this coming Friday's scheduled annual wellness and give him his shots and draw blood and stick a thermometer up his butt.  The poor guy!

Thanks!  He's a little gimpy tonight and doesn't want to jump off the sofa or go down steps.  Will be good in a few days. 

I must've hit my head because a drink doesn't even sound good.  At least what I have available doesn't.
