Who the hell knows what time of day or night it is.....   I slept for 16 out of the last 24 hours.... WTF is going on there?  ???

It's winter.  All the smart animals are sleeping.  (Feeling ok, otherwise?)


A BIL and nephew (same household) are both dealing with confirmed covid.  They've also been power sleeping the last few days away.   Hopefully that's all it'll take to help their recovery.


ION:  my 86 y/o dad got his stimulus check yesterday.  He went and bought a second cross bow.  Not using the other one b/c he said it doesn't work (no idea when he last used it to come to that conclusion).  It's only about 2 years old and does likely work just fine (based on him saying other things don't work but I find out they do - it's just older operator error).    sigh....

..otherwise I have a lingering cold I can't shake and not much interest in eating (and a negative covid test result).

Also, lost 3.3kg in two weeks (which I can spare, so that's OK I guess...)

Sleeping though.... I'm a bloody champ at that  [thumbsup]

Fairly uneventful weekend here.

Seven of my family members have tested positive for Covid following holiday get togethers.  Guess I was the smart one for staying home by myself... [roll] [roll]  Luckily, they all have mild to no symptoms.

Took my cousin and a couple of his kids to the Wild Animal Sanctuary down here today.  The big cats were pretty active, but the bears were sleepy.

Woke up thinking maybe my pregnant doging here is akin to the line from The Princess Bride:

(So far, no new news on the job situation and working from home.  So, I'm still working from home.)

This is the "say anything" thread.  To pregnant dog or not to pregnant dog.  It's your prerogative.   [thumbsup]


Two of us sisters had to coach the other sister on how to address her husband's covid yesterday.  I think she was surprised that the < religious / "we'll just pray about it" > bubble they live in was compromised and possibly embarrassed to ask for help b/c they've been somewhat lax on protocols.  IDK...   But after refusing to go to ER with his oxygen wavering in the mid to low 80's this weekend, he's feeling better today and oxygen is back up consistently. 

In other news:  how much vodka do you add to eggs?
