Afternoon Ducatters 8)

Been preparing lamb casserole which is now in the slow cooker for tonight's dinner.  I quite enjoy cooking when there's all the time in the world.....  Be nice to share it with family and friends but that won't be happening for a while yet I suspect.

A lot more snow here overnight and still coming down.  So out into the yard to make snowmen.... it's at least something different to amuse my childish streak and something of a novelty to the warm-climate foreigner in me.  Back indoors to the warmth now and the the smell of some hearty winter tucker bubbling away.... yum.  Some days 'lockdown' suits me just fine.

...it's underway.   The most vulnerable and front-line workers first.  Most of the very elderly have now either received their first (and in some cases their second too) vaccine - or had the opportunity to do so.  The age-range of those next in line continues to head in my direction - I know of those in their 70s who have had their jab, but my guess is that it'll be April before they get to those of us 60+

By contrast, in Australia there's no rush to vaccinate...... they can afford to wait and watch us be their lab-rats (which in the circumstances we here find ourselves, I happily comply with).
