Happy belated Turkey / Mary's Favorite Holiday Day.   



Giving my arms and hands a break from the latest labor intensive project:  painting the brick fireplace.  It's 13' x 6'.  Deep grout grooves, very patchy not so smooth brick.  Took three passes with a stiff bristle brush over every inch then a wash and almost done priming.  Definitely a labor of love.  Even with just the primer, I like it much better already.

Sounds like a nice memorial for your dad, Randy.   I hope you and your mom and everyone doing ok.

I'm heading home! It was good to get away, but I miss my coffee maker!

They are predicting some rough water. I took the anti barf pills and have a ginger ale. Fingers crossed.

Strawberry jam is the only good food for seasickness.





Because it tastes just as good coming up  ;)
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Good evening.

I'm back at my place in Texas.

Almost a perfect day for football today.  Michigan and Ferris State both won - UM will play in the Big Ten championship game next week and FSU moves on to the next round of the DII tournament.  My high school's team lost the state championship today on a last second field goal.  Last week, they made state history by being the only team to not allow a first down in a game.
