Morning.

I had a wine delivery this past weekend.  Six bottles, not super expensive, but still wine.  Allegedly, it was delivered at 8:40AM on Saturday.  Signed for by someone other than me.  My building doesn't have a lobby or a front desk (although it is technically a hotel, but that is a whole different rant) but a call box.  Of course FedEx is of no use, "we have to allow two business days for...".

Fed Ex "delivered"  and expensive motorcycle part to "me" from the USA.   They delivered it to my address (they didn't), they had my signature (they didn't) so they could PROVE they delivered it to me.   They sent me a Customs & Tax invoice to cover the importation of the goods they could PROVE they delivered to me.  Of course I had it, they have my signature!!   They had a signature for sure but not one written by me.   Imagine the fun I had sorting that one out.

Turns out, their driver delivered it to the wrong address and since I wasn't home (at the wrong address) signed for it himself.  Twat.

I usually get shipments from two different wineries.  One uses a dedicated wine delivery service and the other relies on UPS or FedEx.

Afternoon!

Quite a revelation from FedEx today: "All research efforts have been exhausted.  This shipment has not been located."

Thankfully, the winery has a replacement shipment heading out today, refunded the shipping cost and added a credit to my account for the inconvenience.
