Thats why the Canadians invented maple syrup.

It was the Abenaki's in Vermont, that discovered the liquid gold.

At least that is what I learned in Vermont History in school.

It wasn't Vermont when the Abenaki's discovered it.

Vermont is just trying to toot it's own horn for something it wasn't even involved in.

Sorta like my brother talking about the birth of his kids. I figure at most, he was involved for all of thirty seconds.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Hey!

Don't rain on my parade!!!

You can take me out of Vermont, but you can never take Vermont out me.

i might also be going through what some would call a midlife crisis. i turn 30 in a few months. i'm not taking it as well as i would lead people to believe

I just turned 30 a couple months ago.

It isn't that bad.

Can you hop on a recumbant bike and at least get some exercise that way??  Do upper body/core exercises that don't put weight on your knee.  Get in a pool.  Swim, aquajog, just move.  You may laugh at this one, but try pilates.  It is also a great low stress workout and you will tone up nice.
