it was smelly in places  [laugh]
i've been to nicer cities, but it was ok where we stayed to the north side of town.
the hoosier hooligans kept us entertained  ;D
We weren't in as nice an area, a really nasty hooker came by one night and a guy's Busa got stolen on another.

'Ning, all.   [coffee]

A few more vacation days to burn - Starting next week.

What to do?  What to do?

Probably a little late in the year to do the north half of my trip cut short last spring.

Do I dare go back to California and chance a  [drink] with BP (definately pick up my own tab, and no clown suit involved)?

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

i was tipped off ahead of time that the hotels around the track were dumpy, you've got to pay attention  ;)

did i mention i got rossi's autograph  ;D

it was funny.... he was on the other side of a wire fence and there was a puddle between us.
he was having trouble reaching, and didn't want to get his sneakers wet  [laugh]
he jumped over the puddle and we stood face to face, while he signed my ticket, and about 20 other's  [thumbsup]
it was very cool

I find it endlessly amusing that my dirty bike was in Ducati Island.

Is bouncing off the rev limiter a bad thing when the oil temperature is flashing "LO"?  [cheeky]

i don't know... but it sounded cool  [laugh]

lethe

I don't know if everyone else's does this but if I bounce off the rev limiter, it screws up the tach until I restart the bike. The guy that was next to me, Boris, has either a picture or video of my bike running at "0 rpm".

I didn't have room for other footwear so I was in the SIDIs from last Wednesday night until last night, taking them off only when back at the room for sleeping and showering.
