So, I'm in Okinawa. On base after being medi-vac'd off ship Monday and spending 3 days in the hospital to have my gall bladder removed.

Loads of fun.

I'm better now. Just feels like I got punched in the gut.

It's impossible to have a bad day at the track...

I had a blast...

I was an instructor this time.

I had one student that was a track newbie but was a fast guy.

He was on an R1.

By the end of the day we had the 'you really need to slow down a bit and work on some mechanics' talk.

I almost ran him over when he parked it in corners and spun up the rear coming out of corners.

I ran across the grass in 12 when he scared himself and grabbed the brakes.

You'd think he'd slow it down a bit as I shot by him....nah...

he grabbed a fistful of throttle and was gone.

He'll either take my advice...

or spend some time with a broken collar bone when he highsides.
