Just got back from a sunday drive around the city to look at real estate.

I have decided to rearrange the bedroom.  My head is right next to the window.  We have to leave it open almost all year because our place stays warm.  I wake up with every outside sound.  We are on the 5th floor and sound carries from a few blocks away, plus we are 2 blocks from the water.  Today I woke up way to early to the sound of fog horns.  The other night it was 2 hours of on and off moaning, loud yelling and such.  Sounded like sex in the pea patch (urban garden) next to us.

Is the garden in easy throwing distance?
I can think of a great many biodegradable (littering would be wrong) things to play hit the moaners with.

I got out of bed and went to the roof deck on 6.  At first I was not sure it it was an assault I was hearing.  Turned out to be 2 drunk young people. 

Drug dealers and users hang out in the garden.  I have had to call the PD for drug use and once for a woman being abused by 3 guys.  They were all wacked out on drugs and the woman was wandering in our ally with no cloths on and seeing large spiders.  I got her to get dressed by playing along and killing all the bugs.  SPD took the guys away and Medic 1 took the woman away. 

It is getting noticeably worse with the downturn in the economy.  Drug use is up and street crime is up also.  I'm glad my dog is big and people seem to be afraid of him.
