in the latest installment of how my job sucks.....

one of my co-workers was jsut informed by our manager that leaving before 12 to go to lunch is too early.
we have also been made to coordinate our lunches (which are allowed to be an hr) with the others in our section. he has 4 other people to coordinate lunch with. this means that at least 2 of them need to be here so there is always coverage. next someone will be tol;d that 1 is too late to go to lunch. and don't let there be a lapse in coverage.  [bang] [bang] [bang]

i know there are good jobs, good bosses, and good work environments out there.

one of these stupid job search engines will turn up on of them someday. until then it's sorting through sales jobs to try and find something that works.
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!

Seriously, when i am 800years old i want to rock like Lemmy! it is a religion that requires lots of determination, drugs, and Marshall stacks.

I took the afternoon off.

I went for a little putt to shake out the bike after the crash...

and shake the cobwebs out of my mind.

It was fun...

but I was very tentative.

I need to rid myself of the demons.

Did I miss something?
Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Think of them as reminders.
I go to the track on the 27th.

I'm hoping they'll be distant memories by then,

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
