I took the afternoon off.

I went for a little putt to shake out the bike after the crash...

and shake the cobwebs out of my mind.

It was fun...

but I was very tentative.

I need to rid myself of the demons.

Good for you!

After Caleb's crash I shook like a leaf the first 10 or so times I got on my bike...  Then it got easier.

I dunno about you, but for me it just took time...

Have fun!!!!    [thumbsup]

What bike are you riding, btw?
Inara: (pissed) "What did I say to you about barging into my shuttle?"

Mal: "That it was manly and impulsive?"

Inara: "Yes, precisely. Only the exact phrase I used was 'don't'."

I talked with T about this.

It's pretty serious in my world. I've pretty much always been really comfortable riding. I wasn't today.

It really hurt when I crashed...the asphalt got harder. ;)

I didn't go to the hospital..

but it took months before I could work.

I'm riding an old M900.

Got Duc

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Ah, M900.

I'll bet it hurt, but it would've hurt more not to get back in the saddle.  Though I think it's easier to get back in the saddle on the track than on the road.  So, more power to ya, Nate!  Other than being uncomfortable, how was the ride?

Barely

I loose track of time when I work on bikes.

I sanded for 6 hours today.   :P

Psychologically it would have been better several months ago.

I think I'll be fine on the track...at least I'm hoping...that everyone goes in the same direction and they don't let cars on that day...

and the 996 needs to eat tires. ;D

It was short.

The shifter needed some bending to keep from getting hung up on the side stand, and the bars still are a little funky.

The roads are toast...and there's still lots of sand left over from winter...we haven't had any rain to wash things down.

...but no matter how you cut it...

it was better than sanding. 8)

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
