A little 883 sportster Harley with some artwork I did,

For mister painter, a black base then Meduim metal silver flake mixed with clear base and some red candy, artwork done and then clearcoated 12 times





Only polishing left

The only time I do that is to bury heavy flake.

I actually like it when it looks like a ball of glass so do 3 coats, wet sand with 1500 grit, and repeat the process until I am happy and then polish, normally only 6 to 8 coats.

This customer has an imported from the US Swift sled with a 20 K paintjob and I am upstaging that just to show him what can be done here

I do the same....a little coarser on the paper... Usually 6 coats. You can get it to look like it is going to run off the part because it is always wet. 

Now it makes sense.

Been prepping for DIMBY so I skipped a bunch of stuff here.  But managed to catch this:

Niece is healthy and happy.

Insurance will not cover the cost of her ocuplastic (I think that's the right word)-her eye implant. The thingy that makes her socket bigger so she ends up normal looking because it's "Cosmetic".



Now the bike is for sale for the money to cover it. My brother is poor, and I can help.

Painter's shop burned down! (NOT dp, a local guy.)

Tank made it unscathed, but my front fender and seat cowl are toast. Literally.

He's replacing them, of course, but that's another 2 weeks without.
