i know..... i'm funny  [laugh]
I don't do the happy dance.

I smile on the inside. ;)

Ning peeps!  I am on VaCaTioN!   Now I have to get busy.  Oven cleaning, painting, and helping a friend move are my plans.  Then Portland on Friday for the week end.  Having some Danger Monkey coffee right now.  Thanks again Randy!

That is NOT vacation!!!

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

It is my idea of a vacation Bick!  Laura can not get away and I need some time away from work.  Painting will bring me closer to understanding Nate, Bear, Trouble and now Fry!

I got the best e-mail last night.  From an old friend that I have not seen in 20 years!  I used to walk an hour and a half to college evey day until I got a bicycle. It made my day!   Here is the mail:

oddly enough i do a search every year or so for folks who made a difference in my life or characters whom i simply will never forget. And you...were both. I was the epitome of small town naiivette (wow that looks like i spelled it wrong lol) and meeting and knowing you was eye opening on hundreds of levels. I cannot thank you enough for being an advocate of so many important things at such a young age.

Sorry if that all sounded like a testimonial. But it has always been my practice to tell someone when they make a difference.

I still pick folks up on the side of the road. (which is how we met if you don't remember...luckily we had the same weight training class and I had missed the first day) just on the off chance I might meet someone as interesting as you.

I am glad to see you are well

+1 on trackdays: FUN, EXPENSIVE, FUUUUUUUUNNNN!   ;D

Enjoy.

I have lots of work to do too, and I'm currently avoiding it by hanging out here.  Ha!

Have a day all!

And Mary, for heaven's sake, Bick is right: that is NOT a vacation.
Inara: (pissed) "What did I say to you about barging into my shuttle?"

Mal: "That it was manly and impulsive?"

Inara: "Yes, precisely. Only the exact phrase I used was 'don't'."

Very cool, lmt!

I'm stuck at the airport in Pensacola trying to get home.

that's an awesome email - i don't think enough people give credit where deserved in this day and age.

i wouldn't consider myself part of the painting team - i've got a looooong ways to go

It will increase your costs, and being in Cali you may have to learn a whole new system...ie no solvent borne paint.

That said the quality of the job will be higher once you get through the learning curve. Initially you could have challenges.

Tough call Fry.

The nonprofit I spent a year building a greenhouse for in school.

They have potentially seriously compromised the foundation by excavating under and around the footings of the main support columns.

Bad day at the track.

Im back way early and you know what that means...

Wreck in turn 6, second session. Lowside at about 60+mph. Photogs said the guy in front of me went down in the same exact spot I did. We think there was something on the track :(

Had a pretty rockin 3rd session...

Then in the fourth session coming down the front straight the bike gave it up. I coasted off into the grass off T1.

It is either stuck in two gears or it's siezed (it did run for 15 seconds on it's side when I crashed till the other rider hit the kill switch for me )

It had also been running lean and I think it was down on power, perhaps because of the lean condition.

The bike is now at it's new home in GF's garage. With the move and then a second move on the way I'm going to forget about it. I'm done for the year :(

The ground is harder than it looks. I was wondering if I would ever stop tumbling. Leathers are scuffed but ok. Visor is shot.  Save for an abrasion the size of a quarter above the visor it's the only part of my head to touch down.

Still planning to ride to DIMBY, leaving tomorrow for americade ralley in Lk George NY with some friends then onward to NH.

well everytime i buy the rattle cans its about $25 for 2 cans (2 can minimum)\
but i see what your saying, i have very limited experience in painting - i took an auto-body class and had a quick paint lesson, but hell if i can remember mixture ratios and the like

decisions decisions...
