Was it the confirmation of the hit that was contracted on you?

Nah-there's at least two people who would shoot me on sight for free. They were probably giving out my new address.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Bank financing maybe?

I'm not a fan of dealers-I would demand book value for your trade in.

we're trying that. though we need to find a car that she likes to know how much she needs to finance.

as for the trade in value, it will be at least $3000 or we walk.

yep, same model. honda civic to be exact. the warranty on the pre-owned cars varied from a year (or 20K more mi) to up to 100K miles. she's putting about 40K miles on per year right now.

i'm looking up cars at other places and the prices are still about the same difference.
and here i was thinking that they wanted to actually sell the cars.

ahhhh

so Honda has one of the most extensive preowned programs around.  i would take a certified honda used car over almost anyother.. ask them for the list of new parts and stuff they put on it.  they run thru a huge list of items and many get replaced, so you might have a lot of new stuff, plus they clean it head to toe.  there is a lot of labor cost involved, which is why the high(er) price, but I can't see there being only a $4k difference..  the certified honda usually run around $2000 more than book value around here.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

that's the part that gets me.
why is the brand new one with 0 miles on it so close in price to the used one?

Wish me luck peeps.

Not getting that job at work means there is no chance for advancement or a raise until the end of 2010.

I applied for 3 jobs outside of the Red Cross today.  On two of them I did not quite meet the qualifications, but the company knows me from my current training.  My goal is to find and apply for at least 3 jobs a week until something happens.
