I was supposed to go to the vets to help him today...
but he got a call from the ortho and had to go get a second ct scan.
It appears his scapula is broken so badly that surgery may be imminent.
This whole deal pisses me the make the beast with two backs off.

I'm not undecided at all.
I'm pissed.

LOL. That may be the caption on the emoticon, but I prefer to think of it as "wow, that freakin' sucks"
Happy?

Not even close.
You know me...
this isn't about BM...
it's about my best friend...and one of the nicest most helpful guys in the world.
It pains me to see what's going down in all this...
bullshit.
The events at the track and the decisions made don't help one bit.

+1, Teddy. Just let it be for a while. You'll likely change your mind. Besides, you have a lot ON your mind at the moment. Best advice I ever got when my life went upside down was not to make ANY changes right away, and never ride with your head f***ed up. Just a thought...

I'm so sorry about your friend Eric, Nate. Not much I can do from this end but send good energy and keep him in my prayers...and you too, you old codger.
Hi ya.

In other news...
Other than the Kawi 250 I rode in my MSF course over a year ago, the ONLY bike I've ever ridden has been my own '06 M620, which I LOVE, of course.
THEN...
Yesterday, a friend let me ride his '01 M900S AND...
Today, Stu let me ride his '95 M900.
WOW!
You roll on the throttle on either one of those bikes and they both go, "WHEEEEEEEEEE!!! Let's go FASTER!"
Thanks Duck-Stew and Jonathan!

Agreed.
In my family I tend to take a lot of flack for being who I am, but that's kind of a badge of honor as far as I'm concerned.
Give Eric a hug for me...even if it's a manly one.
But don't hurt his scapula....

I take a lot of flack for being who I am no matter where it is.
I'm OK with it too.

After riding Allegra (Stu's M900) today, I tend to agree.
The brakes are scary though. I almost pitched myself into a mail truck. Ooops...

Nice!
Thanks for the song, Nate!
My friend Vinny told me that if there had ever been a human emotion...
it had been put to song on 'Tin Pan Alley'.
He's dead...
but still correct.
